The harmful effects of sunlight in the course of countless educational campaigns and sun protection was considered a must, it is now said to be environmental pollution. Wrinkles, blemishes, pigmentation spots and a sallow complexion can be traced back not only to harmful UV rays, but allegedly also to fine dust from car exhausts, industrial emissions, smog and smoke.

The microscopic smog, dust and soot particles could therefore get into the pores. Studies have also shown that long-term exposure to pollution, similar to sunlight, generates free radicals that attack our skin.
